Members UstadKhanAli
So as I promised Richard King, here are the photos that i took when I went out to the desert in Joshua Tree on Friday to take photos of the Perseid meteor shower. I had a fantastic time really, just taking it all in under the star canopy. So quiet, nothing but crickets, so magical. http://www.elevenshadows.com/travels/joshuatree2010meteorsstartrails/ I have a bunch of geeky gear information as well as just describing what I did and what I thought. I few friends contacted me and asked me to write down what settings and equipment I used, so I've done that. I tried a few things, being a novice to night photography. One was, of course, getting the meteors. But also, I took some long exposures to capture the star trails. And I also did some painting with light!! So fun!!! Members Ernest Buckley
Hey Ken, Great stuff again. It finally occurred to me what I really like about your work, it takes me to another place. Sort of like a good record. Keep rocking.
