I think this is a different 'type' of 'music' altogether....guys from my generation (ie: me... ) have a hard time 'understanding this type of playing...it seems to come off more like a 'carnival act' than anything 'moving or creative'....spitting out notes and ghost notes like they mean nothing...12 notes per nanosecond...seems pointless to me I can truly appreciate someone that can make this 'style' work....this kid, although (arguably) 'good' for his age...isn't close to making all those notes 'work' yet...obviously, there are guys on this forum that have a GREAT appreciation for this style... I (admittedly) don't get it..
