Mrs. T and I had home-made waffles with home-made cherry jam, pepper bacon, and Session Black Lager for supper last night. Mmm...breakfast for supper...

I'm drinking a 22 oz can of Kirin Ichiban dry lager beer as I type this.

I had a pasty and a couple Session Black Lagers at Saraveza for lunch today. Yum friggin' yum...

I'm going to put the final coat of sealant on my fence today, bfore it gets too hot to work outside. It's supposed to hit 94 today. (yeah, I can just hear it from ezstep...'Thumper, you're a p*ssy'...).

I'm keeping busy on my vacation week. So far: Painted walls and ceiling in second bath room. Built a raised bed box for our plot in the community garden. Painted the fence. Cleared blackberry bramble for a couple hours. And, I've had plenty of beer-drinking time. My life is good.

I'm getting furloughed Friday due to budget cuts. Everyone is taking a day off from work without pay. Right at the end of our school year, when I need to report grades, help mothball two class rooms as we shut down programs, and I start taking over some admin duties (part-time vice principal). I still have a job. Mrs. T is off for a week with VW USA in Ohio, so the dog and I have the house to ourselves for a Guy Weekend. The Thumperbird is supposed to be done Friday. So, yeah.

Just got back from rehearsal. Epic. Suck. Then again, we're gigging this weekend. A sh*t rehearsal is usually followed by an awesome gig. (runs and hides from Fruno for on-topic post in the TK...)

I had a grilled ham and cheese sandwich for supper, with home made baked beans and some Israeli pickles Mrs. Thumper brought back from a synagogue catering gig, and some Rainier beers. Thumpy is one happy bunny right now.

Mrs. T and I are going to a BBQ tonight... At her hippie vegetarian friend's house... I can see it now..grilled tofu...

I had a pizza hot pocket for breakfast.

The Mike Lull T-bird pups arrived yesterday. I'll drop them off at 12th Fret on SE Belmont this afternoon so they can install them after refinishing the Thumperbird...

I picked up a growler of Baltic Porter from Max's Fanno Creek Brew Pub and a large Bologna pie from Pizza Bella on the way home from work today. I'm off work tomorrow, looking forward to a nice three-day weekend, and rapidly getting my food coma goin' on while getting drunk off my @ss.
