Members Roy Brooks
Any southern rock record collection needs the first two Outlaws records as well as a sampling of early Atlanta Rhythm Section, Grinderswitch, Black Oak Arkansas, and Hydra. Members DaveAronow
I Stand on my right foot. Sometimes my left one, and every once in a while, when I am feeling extra goofy, I stand on both of em.

Members chindog
The Ozark Mountain Daredevils have got to be in there, too. I used to listen to them play at a pizza place when they were getting started before they got national attention. Later on, they played concerts at my college, where it cost students $1 to get in. Members Mav64
Someone beat me to Molly Hatchet (my first real rock show in GJ CO by the way) but how about Mother's Finest, Junkyard, Raging Slab and though many might not consider them to be Southern Rock I think Corrosion of Conformity qualifies as well... Members T_Terror
this + Blackfoot I think Blackfoot and the others mentioned just about cover it, really. Can't think of any others, really. For something mellower, maybe try Ozark Mountain Daredevils?
Members pathofspirit
The Kentucky Headhunters are a favorite. Greg Martin is a fine guitarist and has a good collection of Les Pauls. I've also been listening to the Winters Brothers Band again lately. "Southern Rockers" and "Coast to Coast" - good stuff. BTW - someone mentioned Elvin Bishop. He was in the first rock concert I ever went to. He opened for BTO. Elvin is still a great guitarist.
