Members Faber
Anyone here use a tele bridge pickup in a strat? Either a real tele pu or one of those made for strats like the Stelly and Twangbanger. Does it sound in any way tele like? I understand that it won't get the sound exactly, what with the different bridges n all, but even so.

Members Doctor Morbius
I've thought about wiring up a pickguard with a Tele bridge and 2 Strat pups. I have a kadgillion other guitar projects to do first though.

Members Faber
I'd heard about Lowell George using one, and if that's anything to go by, I don't suppose they make a great difference - I've always felt he got a great stratsound. Those DAGs look interesting all right, but I'm gonna have trouble justifying another guitar when I several potential victims to mod
Members Fusion1
Those DAG guitars are sweet. I may have to try to mod a Squire or something like that as I don't have $3500 to blow on a guitar at the moment.
