Members John_McEnroe Posted June 22, 2009 Members Share Posted June 22, 2009 There seem to be a ton of different les paul standards available at the moment can someone shed some light on these models for me? -LP Standard Traditional Pro -LP Standard Plus -LP Standard Traditional Plus -LP Standard Traditional I know about the differences between the traditional and the standard... but I have never heard of all these plus/pro models... Standard:- Burstbucker Pro pickups, chrome covered- Plaintop (opaque finishes)- Finish is gloss all around- Chambered- Locking tuners (and jack, and tailpiece)- Asymmetrical neck carve Standard Plus:Identical to the above, but with a flamed maple top. Traditional:- Classic '57 and Classic '57 plus, chrome covered- Plaintop (opaque finishes)- Finish is gloss all around- Weight relieved- TonePros Kluson tuners- 50's neck Traditional Plus:Identical to the above, but with a flamed maple top. Traditional Pro:- Burstbucker 3 and Classic '57, zebra bezels.
