Members docjeffrey Posted August 13, 2009 Members Share Posted August 13, 2009 ^^^Damn, Maltomario! That's quite a collection. The Standard is stunning, and the Axcess is one sweet looking machine. Love the Silverburst too. Finally, my #4 a Y2K LP Classic Plus. This is pretty close to what a brand new Les Paul would have looked like fresh from the factory in 1960. The fade-resistant tangerine burst has always been one of my favorite finishes. I really like the way that Epiphone does this finish on their guitars--like ESPImperium's above. Three cheers for Lester. He lived a great life and played his heart out right up until the end. I hope that I can do that, albeit, in a more private, less competent way. Everyone who ever met him loved Les. He was open to all kinds of musicians and played with everyone from Slash and Keef to some of the greatest country pickers of all time.
