What Colour Strat Body For Black Pickups?

So I have a lot of guitar parts lying around the house from various old projects that I'm trying to use up. Included in these parts is a maple American Standard Stratocaster neck and two black Dimarzio humbuckers. Can anyone suggest a good body/pickguard combo that will go well with the black humbuckers? ATM I'm leaning towards:

I like vintage white body, white/black/white pickguard and black pickups and vol/tone knobs.

Though I think this lools better with a RW fingerboard...

Me too. The aged pickguard on the left was the original on this strat, but then I upgraded the pickups on a standard pearl pickguard.

Eventually I'll put the new pickups, with black covers in the aged pearl pickguard.

That's one of my favorite combos ever.

The pickguard colour is more important than the body IMHO.

Though a Black/black/black would look sweet. go to

and mock some up!

I agree that the guard color is the most important thing wrt pup color. And what makes them look good, IMO is contrast. So my vote for guard color with black pups is white!

Notice how the stock white pups get lost on my LTDII in that pic.
