Moderators Ratae Corieltauvorum Posted November 30, 2009 Author Moderators Share Posted November 30, 2009 Thank you Washington for your bad management since 2006 that started the decline of the US economy relative to the Global Marketplace. Instead of looking to DC, maybe you should look at the small number of super wealthy who control the money supply, and b*nk*rs

Moderators Ratae Corieltauvorum Posted November 30, 2009 Author Moderators Share Posted November 30, 2009 Ahh, you crazy furriners. Well those look really nice but maybe a bit more than I was thinking. If the world goes to hell and I ever have to sell my Axcess, I will give these a serious look see. Pete see my edit up there, it looks like Mike Spitzer is doing them at 500 USD. I think if anybody could give these guitars the once over you would be a superb candidate:thu: http://www.tuscanyguitars.com/tuscany_rush_cust.html

Mike is there any way you could get one of these to Pete for a review? It'd certainly be a cool way to introduce the brand to this forum to get one into the hands of a good pro musician with a lot of playing and modding experience:thu:
Moderators Ratae Corieltauvorum Posted November 30, 2009 Author Moderators Share Posted November 30, 2009 Setup is done in Italy (if that matters).! True, what would Italians know about setting up and finishing stringed instruments:)

Maybe try it for 2 or 3 days, then send it on to the next guy (or gal) on the list.I'd sign up for that.

Members MikeSpitzer
That idea of circulating a guitar among a number of you to "test drive" sounds intriguing. How would this actually work exactly ? I send to to the first person on the list and it keeps getting circulated ....... Then at the end of the "trial period" when eveybody on the list has had a chance to play it , I put all those people who reviewed the product into a box and draw a winner to keep the guitar ? Thoughts ? Members Vintage55
That would cool, Mike. I'll certainly volunteer to be part of the testdrive. You might want to look at where each player lives, as well, so that when shipping occurs from one to the other, distance/cost could be minimized. I've posted before which I prefer...the flamed Rush and one of the Exlusives as well...but any would be great to get my hands on for a few days. Members Vintage55
Maybe you should do a poll, listing what would be available and let everyone here vote for their favs, whether they'll be part of the testing or not. That way you also get a good idea of what's most appealing to everyone.

You don't want this going on for more than a month or so.When shipped, tracking info would have to be forwarded to you so you know who has the guitar at all times. If anyone tries to keep it, you know where to send the cops. (I doubt that would happen but..) Maybe require that each 'tester' be required to do a nice, detailed write up of their opinion. Each person would be responsible for the shipping charges when they send it to the next person on the list.If a winner is drawn at the end of the trial, that winner would have to pay the shipping costs to get the guitar to them from the last person on the list. If they opt out, have a new drawing. If you do this, start a new thread (one of the mods could sticky it) and have people sign up to get in. The final list could be posted in that thread so we can all see where the guitar is at the moment.Personally, I would be most interested in the Rush Custom, but any of the Rush models would be cool. The SG and 335 models would be my next choice.

Members Ancient Mariner
Great idea, and it's worked well with amps among trusted HCAF forumites, but with the number of travelling pedal boxes that have gone missing you might want some sort of deposit system, refunded after the next person on the list has received it. Members Vintage55
Use a pre-approved credit card for deposit, which could be charged should the next person to receive the guitar never get it.
