The way you played rhythmic solo was soooo Hendrixesque. I played it twice honestly expecting to hear Jimi's voice telling me about a red house over yonder or something to come on. That was tasty delicious!!

Members MichaelSaulnier
I would have to describe Frets bt as "insistant". Still, it was interesting to jam over... I ended up "adjusting" it a bit in the mix... I'll let you decide if it came out ok. Members MichaelSaulnier
I recorded my first take playing lead on an acoustic - starts out a bit cold but gets better as I warm up throughout - no great shakes, but just in case someone is not tired of hearing this track yet http://www.soundclick.com/bands/page_songInfo.cfm?bandID=615074&songID=8702167 I'm sitting in some sweaty dive blues bar, just bumpin my head up and down and tappin' my foot to the groove... beer in hand, watchin' a bluesman riff it up on his nappy acoustic... love to be in that place! Very cool take! M
Frets99
Been playing with the Boss Micro BR and I am damned impressed with the quality of it. I imported one of the BT's from the current sticky jam, a nice blues BT. I played my Squier 51 > Behringer Blues OD pedal >Fender Champ 12 lined out to the Boss Micro BR. Then I mastered and exported this file. http://hcbts.arkay.de/frets99/BossMicroBlues.mp3 I think the guitar sits very naturally in the mix. And most importantly, after I imported the BT, I could record anywhere in the house where I have an amp. This is the website I got the import the backing tracks tiphttp://64guitars.bossbr.net/Html/Tutorials/Micro_BR_Import.html And there was a nice tutorial on mastering and exporting here:

Members scuzzo
ok take on Marcs laid back blues BT.. it is what it is, for lots of important reasons i have not found time to play for a week or more and my hands have gotten soft and banker like, or some tender foot.. this is the first time in a long time it really hurt to play.. hands are pretty beat up.. just glad im able to find time to play again.. sorry for the sharps and flats... meh.. but it did get that nice blues honk that LPs are so known for,, lots of thumb and claw stuff.. this is in two parts because i found a tone i really like and i though what the heck.. part 2 same deal just playing around with mic placement and trying some out of phase kinda ideas, and cab size and stuff.. same agile guitar guitar used My Les Paul Copy Agile sorry folks No Callus Blues http://soundclick.com/share?songid=8739983 No Callus Blues part 2 http://soundclick.com/share?songid=8740023

Members ILikeGuitar
http://www.soundclick.com/bands/default.cfm?bandID=1038560 My first sticky jam ever I think! Used the Blues backing track Epiphone Lucille on Classic 57 neck pickup through SuperChampXD Voice 8, gain at 10, a little reverb I've been trying to play about 3 years teaching myself from the internet... Go easy on me haha. But seriously, suggestions and criticism would be great! I thought I started out ok but I ran out ideas in the latter half. Members metallica_00
Haven't done one of these in a long time! I sold my recording gear when I moved over the summer, so I just stuck my macbook in front of my amp and seemed to work okay enough. These slower blues tracks are tricky IMO. So much harder to string together some good licks with good rhythm on a slow tune than a fast one. My playing stinks right now - haven't played with a band or recorded anything in a long time. So my time feels really off which makes it hard to be confident enough to throw in some hot licks and play with "direction" http://www.soundclick.com/bands/page_songInfo.cfm?bandID=702186&songID=8756983
