I've seen black LP customs with black P90s, and obviously seen regular Black Beauties with the three gold humbuckers, but it occurred to me that three gold P90s and a Bigsby would also be nice. So, if they have metal covers, there's no reason that they couldn't have gold metal covers, although I've never seen them either. It seems like an obvious guitar now that I think about it. As far as I know, Gibson has only offered black and cream. Many P90 freaks swear that a metal cover cuts the treble frequencies. I don't know if that's true or not. Maybe another bacon grease story.
