Members EllenGtrGrl
I don't like every Helmet song, but there are a few off of "Betty", and "Aftertaste", that I think are VERY cool! Members lefchr
helmet is one of my favorite bands. Page is one amazing guitarist. I'm not a huge fan of helmet 2 but all the original stuff is awesome. His work with Glenn branca and ghandi are also worth looking into.

Members rusholmeruffian
He couldn't be that bad live--he was one of David Bowie's touring guitarists for a while, IIRC.
Members UltramegaOK
Page is awesome live! Even whne touring with non-original musicians, Helmet kicks ass. I have really enjoyed the shows I've been to at the smaller clubs.

Members ubernerd
He's amazing. I saw Helmet and the Jesus Lizard (same bill) at a small club in the early 90s--it was a religious experience.

Members soundcreation
I like helmet. Have one or two albums. They weren't the "under appreciated geniuses" some of the fanboys make them out to be..in my opinion. They were just a very good solid heavy rock band. And Hamilton could really write some kick ass riffs. But they get a bit repetitive after a while...and that's probably the reason I never really "stuck with them".
