Members milosch
Pardon the crappy phone pic. But, I was surprised to see that it actually has some grain to it. Most of the pics I saw online made it look like it was just plain old red. This was one of the MF factory restocks they have had recently:

Members milosch
They sound about like the first Dot I bought a few years ago Not bad, really. But the 57 Classics in the 339 show them up. Not sure what/if/when I will do with this one: Edit: sorry, those were HUGE.
Members Woody_in_MN
I'm not big on hollow guitars, but I like the natural finish on that one. HNGD. 4 paws up from Lamb Chop. - w

Members milosch
I thought about P94's or some such. But I have a casino already. Might try something from GFS, perhaps the Vintage 59's.
Members HeatherAnnePeel
I guess I'm in the minority here, but I really like the sound of the stock pick-ups. They sound fabulous through my Marshall/Ampeg rig.

Might try something from GFS, perhaps the Vintage 59's.The Mean 90s do really well on semi hollows as well. The only reason I'm suggesting the BG Pure 90s is that I used both the Means and Pure 90s on a Sheraton and they sound great on semihollows, the Pure 90 being several steps better and of course, more expensive as well. The Casino is kind of a different sound since it's a full hollow.Anyway, congrats again on your gorgeous new guitar!:thu:
Members nomadh
Yes i have one too and I like the grain alot. In fact I see them at GCand usually they catch my eye. Thay also play well and the pickups suit the guitar I think. My only issue with the dot is it sounds way more like a solid than a hollowbody. Thats probably true of most semi hollows. I suspect i want a full trapeze type hollowbody.

Members HeatherAnnePeel
As an owner of a Dot and a Dot Studio, it is my opinion that both are among the best value Epiphones out there. The Dot in particular comes really close to nailing the ES-335's mojo, and when cranked it's really hard to tell the two apart. Highly recommended!
