Members Mush
I had to polish the first fret on my new American serie strat. While doing it I scratched the gloss on the fretboard adjacent to that fret (my fault, mea culpa). Can someone tell me what kind of product I can find at the hardware store that I can use to touch it up. Mush

Members Mush
I have the high gloss maple fretboard. If that is important. Mush
Members Larry the Dog
How deep a scratch is it?
Members Mush
Not deep at all. I used 1500 and up to 6000 grit Micromesh sandpaper for the job. It is only apparent when I look at a certain angle and under a certain light. Mush I think I might be too much of a perfectionnist.
Members mrbrown49
If it's not deep you can just sand/polish it out. If you need a filler, superglue works great at repairing poly finishes.

Members billybilly
Just polish it, really well. With a buffer. I am fussy too so I know how you feel.
