Members uab9253
I had a Cameo Les Paul copy that I bought in 1979 out of an Air Force Base Exchange catalog. It actually wasn't half bad, but I remember coveting the Dimarzios that were in my friend's Hondo. The Cameo was also a plywood monster of Asian origin. Even more obscure. Members lowbrow
I used to have a Hondo strat from the late 70's/early 80's. Can't remember the exact year anymore. Anyway, it was made in Japan and was solid Sen ash with a maple neck, all in a clear finish. It specked out very much like a Fender from the late 70's. It was actually a nice guitar. Alnico pickups, good wood, good fit and finish. It was from their "Professional Series".
Members Virgman
Hondos are ok. Suzuki's are good. Yamaha's are fine. Toyota's too.
