Tom made the bobbins to fit his custom 8 string Lap Steels. This are wound like my Rockwinds. Here's the photos. Fresh out of the Wax All finished and ready to go in a guitar. I glued them up for more stability and they held together very well.I used my stash of black enamel wire on your bridge. I usually save that for repairing old humbuckers. This wire isn't made anymore. Cool ... I was wondering about that Should not be too long before I'll make them sing. I'm doing the clambering on the body today and will get the cap on today too. Still need to make a set of routing templates for them too. I swear I've spent more time on this build making parts and templates then actual wood working, but its all good ... part of the deal when developing a new model. Well if and when you do i'm down for two of em right off the bat. I'd have no reason to use any other manufacturer if you offered them.
