I was playing this today:

It is a Dean Soltero. It has a soft V neck. I really liked it. It was the Korean version, but played awesome. It was exactly the price I am looking to pay next week. I settled on a Faded SG, but now I am rethinking. Those are pretty nice.

The Korean version is the better version, only a mild step down from the USA. I own the Chinese version, still pretty good, I love it, but it has some finish flaws, and the bridge p/u doesn't line up under the strings perfectly. But I love that v neck!

V necks are all I gig with any more. I have 2 Blueshawks and a project tele with a Warmoth Clapton profile. The depth in the middle really helps with endurance when you're playing a lot of barre chords and you don't have extra shoulder wood to reach around.

I only have C necks. I never really played a V neck before. I did like the wolfgang asymetrical becks. But, I like the feel of that V better. And, to show my support, I wore a V neck black sweater today. I just realized I did that.
