Members Brainfertilizer
Not sure what the finish color is, but the wood is Cherry. Ebony fingerboard, relatively flat radius. Abalone inlay markers. The asymmetrical blonde flash matches an asymmetrical blonde flash on my Jon Kammerer walnut solid body. It has a Dirty Finger HB in the bridge, a Seymour Duncan single coil in the middle, and a Razor Dual Rail HB in the neck position. Pull-tap for both HBs on the tone pot. The Dirty Fingers pickup is almost a little too hot for me. When I use distortion, I have to roll off the volume and especially the tone knob slightly. But it has an awesome, rich tone when I play it clean on the "black channel" amp modeler. I've been toying with the idea of dabbling in original Surf-style compositions; if so, the rich clean tone would make this guitar perfect for it. Decent/credible strat quacks with the coil tap, too. A *great* guitar. He's selling these for $995, but you get your choice of fretboard wood, body wood, inlay material, hardware color, pickup configuration... Anyway, without further ado, the pictures (all pictures are embiggenable):

Members Brainfertilizer
It's got some great figuring on the upper half of the body, no?If I'd had the guitar built, I probably would not have gone with gold hardware because of the typical fading/wearing problem with gold hardware, but it looks pretty good on this guitar. Members Brainfertilizer
Who might "he" be? Huh. I never did say, did I? This is a Jon Kammerer Guitar. He's still having a clearance sale here. I got the guitar for $1k in the clearance sale (you can see it marked as sold in the 2nd set of $1k guitars...Jon said the other right-handed strat-style guitar is even better looking in person, but there were just some things about this one that drew me to it, anyway), but Jon has decided to offer this guitar at $995 for the foreseeable future due to the current economic situation. In effect, you can you get this shape guitar with just about any equivalent materials/colors for $995. Black/Gold/Chrome hardware, ebony/maple/rosewood/pao ferro/acrylic fretboard, cherry/walnut/ash/maple body (haven't seen him make mahogany, but it is worth asking if you want that or alder or poplar or basswood), any fretboard radius (to include compound radius) and any pickup configuration. In any case, he's very easy to talk to on the phone, very flexible...and it is a true custom shop: he'll do anything except illegal copies of trademarked guitars.
