Members kylef
I have had my SG Classic about a year now, and i made a few mods to it after a while. I never liked the white button tuners, so replaced them with what the SG Standard has, tulip Klusons. I liked it for a while, but something doesnt seem right now. I think its the lack of block inlays, but its something anyway. I sold my white buttons so cant swap them back, although i am thinking of buying some again. Is it worth it? What do you guys think? Members Wyatt
I think for the historically "student" guitars...LP Jr's and Specials, SG Jr's and (old School) Specials/Classic, the buttons just seem right.
Members Guitar Heel
I think those look best on the Classics, especially since they have actually white binding. When I had mine, I thought they were fine. Never had a problem with them.
Members AcDcSg
My sg has locking tulips on it which I love the look of, so my vote goes for those
Members sneakerpimp
chrome/nickel buttons.
Members Brewski
they both are nice looking but don't stay in tune very well - get some Grovers
Members vintage clubber
how about nickel buttons with split safety posts?
Members kayd_mon
Hmmm.... I'd pick the white buttons to match the binding, but I don't really like either. Grovers for me.

Members Crunchtime
chrome/nickel buttons. This, for sure. Looks so classy.
Members sk8centilli
I would've kept the buttons, but those tulips look nice. I'd keep those.
Members ashasha
I did the same exact thing; have the same exact feeling...not real sure if I like them as much as I did in my mind. Now part of it was that the buttons were too small to grab onto with my sausage fingers and I like the keystones for that a lot better, but aesthetically the buttons look better. Members Steadfastly
I always relate those white knobs to cheap old guitars. Give me some good quality gold ones any day, thank you very much.
