The painter did all the real work here but I'm definitely diggin' it. And the inspiration came ENTIRELY from getting that burned neck for lowbrow. I respect the hell out of Jimi, but I'd never have thought to build up a tribute strat related to him but when I got that burned neck, I couldn't help myself. It funny how a change can do you good as they say. I had these CS69s in a more surfy guitar for a few years and thought they sounded OK, but weren't really my thing.
