Members Dirty South Al
Yeah, wood screws and you swap the surgical tubing or spring to be between the PU and the body. Wyatt is right on the money. Screw it directly to the body and I would use the surgical tubing. I use surgical tubing on every pickup I install. Love that stuff. Springs suck. Members bsman
Dang it! I think that's exactly what I'm going to do. 'Cept I don't think I'm going to use the "old-style" wiring (i.e. like the 52, with Bridge-Neck no tone-Neck tone) but rather keep the modern wiring scheme. Since my guitar budget is pretty limited these days, that's something I can do to have some fun!

I can get vacuum line and any auto parts place. I hate springs too.

Members DarkHorseJ27
I've always been a humbucker guy, but I have to admit he gets some damn nice tones out of that thing.
Members Malcolm Ramone
I find it funny that the Wilky cut down bridge is more expensive than a full size one! I bought a no namer off ebay a while back, and plan to cut it down myself, I think it was only $10ish. -Adam

Members Deadbeat Son
Just curious, because if it did, $10 would be an amazing deal!
Members bsman
I'm gonna order the Wilki and find time to install it (hard to do once soccer season starts -- so it'll probably be Nov/Dec before I get around to it). I'll post pics when I do!
