Members Deadbeat Son
I have a couple of guitars with minor buckle rash that I'm thinking of selling. Are there any tricks to remove the rash? Maybe a warm iron over a damp cloth? I know that works for removing scratches from nonlacquered wood. Members jtr654
Live with it and next time either move the buckle to the side of your pants or get a belt without a buckle.
Members billybilly
How deep is it? Through the finish? If not, use automotive cut and polish. Easy to do and comes out sweet. If it is through to the wood I've color matched, sprayed or blotted a little poly on sanded and used the cut and polish again.
