Members guitarcats
This is my new guitar body I ordered from USACG. Its a downsized T model that is made from a chunk of oak I brought back from Afghanistan a few years ago. It has a double bound body, aztec gold finish and is routed for N & B filtertron pickups. I will be putting a GE Smith tele neck on whenever I can find one on Ebay.

Members fu2jobu
double black binding = 4x as nice as other binding. That would look great with an ebony fingerboard. Then again I think it will look great no matter what fingerboard material you go with.

Members guitarcats
downsized? is it smaller than a standard tele? can't really tell without the other parts fitted on. great color choice though! rosewood fingerboard? Its 15% smaller and with a 1-piece oak body the weight wont be too bad. The body doesnt get here until Friday so I cant weigh it yet but Tommy at USACG said its pretty light. I will be using a GE Smith neck when I can find one(just missed one one Ebay yesterday). Heres what the neck looks like...... Here is what a downsize T body looks like loaded...... Members guitarcats
very nice! why downsized vs standard size? I had planned on making a guitar from wood that I picked up overseas since 2004. I saw that downsize T model a few years later and thought it would make a great travel guitar. It fits perfect either in my gear bag or in the overhead on the plane.
