And how much? thanks again... got the 1-piece mahogany blank from member guitarzan1143 (kyle)... good price. ask him if your interested... the maple cap was pre-carved and accurate to a '59 carve... got it here, but it's not cheap... $335... http://www.bartlettwoodworking.com/body.html since i learned how to do a carved top on my first build i will probably be doing my own carve from now on and just buying some sexy figured maple for $100-$200.... Members ihavenofish Posted April 4, 2010 Members Share Posted April 4, 2010 that red got very punchy, looks nice. i actually finished my24" scale SG today, haha. fretwork, pickup wiring, grinding a bridge down to be lower profile. maple pickup ring etc. its actually quite nice despite all the screw ups.
