By the way, could you slip me their phone numbers or email addys? There's only the two of them. They were taken for use in retro-pinup girl calendar being made by a local restaurant, the proceeds of which will be going to a children's charity. Unfortunately, I could never afford to have this sort of thing done on my own, just the cost of the professional hair and make-up people would break me before the first shot was taken. For the entire 12 month calendar photography, Mike took around 2000 images during the studio sessions last week, but after seeing these, I'd sure like to have a full calendar made using all of our guitars. The models are all local girls and I don't think any of them are pros, I know one of them works at a local hardware store.

We're going to visit a bit with 'the boys' at J. Backlund Design, and my wife is going to run in the Seven Bridges marathon in Chattanooga on sunday, then we're driving back. We'll be home sometime Monday evening. Both of the guitars in the photos need some work, the JBD-200 in the second image has a bad selector switch and will only play reliably on the bridge pickup, the blue JB-100 in the first photo is literally unplayable until it's neck is adjusted and a problem with the bridge/neck alignment is addressed. I'm taking the blue JBD-100 with us to Chattanoga so it can be repaired (or possibly replaced entirely). I may well have to leave it there and have it shipped back to me once it is straightened out (though I hate to risk shipping the guitar). I've had that guitar for something like four years and I don't think it has more than maybe two to three hours of playing time on it in that entire period.
