Members profgalen
I just pick-up this Yamaha Pacifica 604 for one-fiddy from CL. After reading all the good things about them on them on this form I thought I'd give it a try. I'm quite pleased. Is this a Warmoth neck? I like the feel. There is a number stamped on the back of the neck (KX13286). Is this a Warmoth number or a Yamaha S/N? I really like the sound of the pups. No need to change them. However the split switch on the tone control is broken. An easy fix. All in all a real bang for the buck.I was also looking for a Phase Shifter pedal and had tried a number of pedals in a music store. I thought they all sounded to thin and digital or were to noisy. I took a chance and ordered this T-Rex Tonebug Phaser from Hello Music. Exactly what I was looking for. Deep and rich tones and absolutely quiet. I prefer the vintage mode to the modern. Here's a great demo from YouTube.

Members cratz2
I have a 604 as well and a Warmoth Standard Thin neck and the dimensions are as similar as possible. Another member and I were pondering the source as well and he threw out the possibility that they are all built by Warmoth but maybe the less visually spectacular necks would go out without the logo. Regardless, for how cheap I got mine, I'm in awe at how great of a guitar it is and I'm a long-time Yamaha fanboy.
