Members kayd_mon Posted February 5, 2014 Members Posted February 5, 2014 Remember when Pearl Jam fought for low ticket prices and tried to go against the Ticketmaster (virtual) monopoly? Too bad that never worked.
Members DaleH Posted February 5, 2014 Members Posted February 5, 2014 If he plays near you be sure to catch that one. New band, bet he will bring the house down.
Members mistersully Posted February 5, 2014 Members Posted February 5, 2014 his new music is heavily guitar based and yeah... go see him live... i've seen him quite a few times and he kills
Members Grant Harding Posted February 5, 2014 Members Posted February 5, 2014 I'd love to see him and the new band. I'd totally lend him my guitar. People artificially relic guitars - how cool would it be to be able to say "See those scratches and dents? Prince did that.".
Members slvrsrpnt Posted February 6, 2014 Members Posted February 6, 2014 he'd need to pay me much more than that to go see him
Members Grant Harding Posted February 6, 2014 Members Posted February 6, 2014 Diversity makes the world go round! I don't think he'd pay you to come to his show or lose sleep over you hating him. I could be wrong.
Members WoodenDuckMaker Posted February 6, 2014 Members Posted February 6, 2014 I almost never go to any concerts anymore because of the prices. Easily a hundred bucks for a mainstream band. For good seats, to a really hot group, $300. And if you just want to see a local band, i've had to pay $7 in fees on a $9 ticket. And I couldn't get them from the box office because the cost of gas to make the extra trip would have been the same as the stupid fees.
