hey guys, my drummer owns a custom drum company. he builds the nicest looking and sounding drums i have ever seen and/or heard. this is no joke. this is a one man operation done in a basement, although you'd never beleive it. prices are VERY reasonable. here are a few pics to give you an idea.

Another New Years Reso I gotta make for this year is to LOOK AT THE THREAD STARTING DATE!!! When will I learn?1? Anyways...yeah, they do look good. I particularly like the two toned wood kit. But if you really want to see some drums on steroids, go to Ghostnote.net. Those guys over there are positively sick...

isnt it all the same shells? keller right?

It all depends on the quantity of shells that are ordered from Keller. If you order enough shells from them they will make them to your specs. That's what DW did back when they used their shells, and I'm sure that OCPD, Spaun, and the other larger companies do.

You know, you talk too much.

How ya been?

Thanks for noticing, and for asking, Mr. Gear. I'm fine...just engaged in surviving unemployment while averting total ruin.

Back to the topic; custom drums all Kellers? That assumption only belies an eagerness to dismiss based on misinformation. There are numerous other options from staves, plies, and steambent, to metals and composites. Some most notable examples:

Know a guy that purchased a nice kit about a year ago, and has still not received said kit, no refund, and now out of contact. Would seem this guy is pretty shady.

Yes, i realize this is a zombie, but people should be made aware of this regardless.
