Members JMR
I kinda want one for the more Drum n Bass and Reggae stuff I'm doing. And also to throw in a different sound for punk now and then. Which ones should I definitely look it? I'm on a budget. I generally love any ludwig, most sonors and quite a few gretsch drums. Members Eyehearya
I'm thinking of getting a cheapy brass 13" Pearl, less than 100 bones on MF.com, and some pretty decent reviews too. I know I want pop & ring and there are almost zero used models on CL up here.
Members 1001gear
They will cut through any band to a fault at an irritating and too high pitch and mostly only that. And Dixon if you can find one.
Members race81
I bought a pearl off of e-bay last summer. Installed new heads, cleaned it, and cranked it tight like a tiger. nice little pop!
Members devinw
I have a ludwig 13" piccolo. Kind of a piece of {censored} but I crank it pretty tight. With rimshots it's quite good for drum and bass stuff which I play with my "livetronica" group. I also have a 12x5 DW which is not actually a piccolo but I bet it could be cranked up a bit. I play it a bit looser and its a nice sounding drum.

Members JMR
I'm torn between getting a deep classic ludwig snare (6.5 to 8" deep) or a piccolo OR a vintage ludwig pioneer. Currently have an acrolite that I love to death.
Members D Carroll
Crank the acro, it can handle it.
