Well, my Cruise is almost over. I want to purchase something as a "Welcome Home to Me" gift. What should I get?????

Here is my current gear lineup,

Bass Gear;

1969 Fender Jazz Bass

1976 Fender Jazz Bass

1979 Peavey T-40

2005 Limited Edition Stingray

Peavey 400 Series Bass Head

EV 4x10 cabinet

Behringer VAmp Pro

Guitar Gear;

1972 Fender Stratocaster

Ibanez IC400BK Iceman

Gibson Flying V

Gretsch Dual Jet

Tacoma DM-9 Acoustic

Vox AD120VTH Head

Behringer 4x12 Cabinet

I'm thinking of getting something bass related, like maybe another bass or bass amp. I was able to save some money on the cruise.

Sorry, I won't buy anyone here anything.:D

Depending on the outcome of this poll, we'll get into brands in the next poll.:D

I was considering it, but I got a redwood Cirrus 5 with a maple board for a few hundred less on the bay.

I think I was looking at that one before I left on the Cruise. I'll just have to talk to Seth and see what he can do for me. That's a good thought.

:)

Already have that covered. I got them a mess load of stuff when I visited all those foreign ports. I do plan on taking them out to eat when I get home though.

Besides, the wife told me to get myself something.:)

But don't count your chickens just yet. You know what happened to the Lincoln when they thought they were going home in 03.

The Lincoln is a Carrier. I'm not on a carrier.

Nothing says, "welcome home, sailor" quite like a Rickenbacker 4003.

I was actually thinking of getting a blueburst 4003. Saw that color on their web site and was hooked.

Right, they sent back the whole battle group.

We're not part of a battlegroup. We independent steam. We're too insignificant to be part of a battle group.:D

The reason I called it a cruise is because we were in port more than we were out. we went to;

Rota, Spain

Augusta, Sicily Italy

Taranto, Italy

Gaeta, Italy

Thesaloniki, Greece

Vlore, Albania

Split, Croatia

Durres, Albania

Bizert, Tunisia

Haifa, Israel

Cannes, France

Naples, Italy

Spent at least 4 days in each port. Some ports we visited more than once, and others we spent up to two weeks in.

Ahem. I noticed you don't have a Rickenbacker or Thunderbird in the fold yet. You'll want one. Or both.

I added an Ibanez Musician bass, DeArmond M77T g**t*r and a Bassman 10 amp to the herd, all of which will be waiting for me when I get home from my Middle East Vacation next month.

The wife got a new Wolf gas oven (she's a chef---it was HER idea...)

The Black Lab from Hell will get lots of walks.

BTW, welcome back.
