Rickenbacker 4003 in Mapleglo. My first purchase on a bass product over 1K.

MTD Kingston fretless. I traded in my OLP 5string I had for some reason (never bought it  ) so I could screw around with a fretless of reasonable quality.

'80s Ibanez Digital Delay pedal. Fretless posted a link to the auction and I, on a whim, bid and won. Excellent pedal

Pedaltrain pedalboard and got a power-all for dirt cheap with it.

Some strings: Rotosound Jazz flats, Ken Smith Rockmasters, DR High Beams, and D'Addario nickels for my fretless.

Probably 30 packs of GHS B-52s:

Good, bright, reasonably cheap.

Hunderds of picks:

They break, they get lost...they work.

Yorkville 400-H:

Solid, but nothing overly special. (sold)

GK 400RB:

See above. Nice as a backup. (sold)

Sunn 300T:

Just when I had it humming it exploded. Back in the shop again, but the guy isn't charging me for the work because he didn't fix it the first time. We'll see when it's back from the dead.

Dan Electro DC-3:

I actually really like these Dan Electros. I never should have made that longhorn into an art project, particularly considering I'm terrible at art. Excellent replacement for my shattered Squire.

Fulltone Bass Drive:

Guy is a prick, but this pedal does reasonably well. Would rather have a Z-Vex Wooly Mammoth, but maybe one day I can have both.

Line 6 DL-4:

Replacing the one that had a gallon of water dumped on it. Fun.

That's all I can think of at the moment.

Bought--

'73 Ampeg V-4 head: traded a 1x15" combo + cash on it. This will be with me 'til the day I die. :thu:

Bought & Sold--

Fulltone Bass Drive: great pedal but uneeded after I started gigging with the V-4.

Sansamp BDDI: another very useful pedal bought solely for backup in case my V-4 went down during a gig, but no longer needed it after my band broke up.

Traded--

Dr. Bass RX210: traded my Avatar 2x12 to forumite no-logic for it. Great little cab that will be sticking around. I may add another RX210 to it for a modular & portable rig once I start gigging again.

Overall a pretty quiet gear year. :bor:

Ernie Ball Musicman Bongo.

This thing has a depth of sound that I can't hear in any other bass. The output is phenomenal and the 4 band EQ is great. The bass is easier to play than my Stingray and is much lighter. Looks are fine, though I prefer translucent finishes. The toilet seat joke doesn't hold any water after you try one. It may get culled from the herd as I am trying to get it down to basses I can't live without or can't sell. :D The Bongo is replaceable and saleable. Another will likely be in my future if I sell it.

Korg TU-2

I'm glad I listened to everyone else. It's fast and very easy to use and acts as a handy mute switch. No complaints period. I'm thinking of getting the power adaptor and the tree that powers other pedals from the TU-2.

Thunderfunk TFB-420

This amp has a simply wonderful sound when set flat that seems to fit most music that I practice to. I used to mess with the EQ on my RBI a lot, but I don't feel the need to with this amp. Even so I love the numeric ranges of the EQ knobs so I can play with cut and boost at specific frequencies. It's bloody loud for 400 watts and goes well with a pair of Aguilar GS112s. It has warmth, depth, cut and clarity all at once. The enhance knob is incredibly useful. There is a slight hum from the power amp that I didn't have with my rack, but I've heard louder on an Eden WT-550 and a Yorkville XS800. I'm picky about hum. I gather the new TFB-550's are dead silent. My amplifier search is done unless I want to upgrade to a TFB-550.

Avatar Neo210- Kind of a rockin' little cab...

Vox Tonelab- Really a good investment for direct recording guitars without offending all the neighbors.
