I'll have to check that out . Thanks ;)

I love Resident Alien--that was a great album.

I really like the song "In the Meantime", but there are some songs on that album I just don't care for much. Overall, it's a decent album IMO.

Bush had some hits off three of their albums. "Sixteen Stone", "Razorblade Suitcase", and "The Science of Things". Lug, are you saying they lost popularity after "The Science..."?

Funny, that's exactly who I thought of when I read your title.

It's strange to go from a cd with at least 7 songs on the radio to not much after that to nothing...

Yo.

Yo.

I heard some other songs on the radio...

"Secret Samadhi" - Lakini's Juice and Freaks both had videos, didn't they?

"The Distance to Here" - I heard "The Dolphin's Cry" and "Run to the Water" on the radio here.

"V" - "Simple Creed" was on the radio here.

I'm not ashamed! I dig "all star", and never got sick of it during it's 3 year run on the charts!

In fact, there were 3 bands with more- or less, the same sound:

Smashmouth

Sugar Ray

and I forget the 3rd one..... All seem to have vanished into the night.

Like em or hate em, It 's weird that they were huge, but then GONE!!!!!!!

"Bush. Went from megapopular to nothing in 1 CD."

Having your lead singer busted for statutory rape never helps in these cases.

"I'm probably the only person who misses them, but what happened to Smashmouth?"

Not true. My kids are avid SM fans due to that 1st Shrek soundtrack.

doubtful that makes a difference, since he's been in movies, etc since then..they probably broke up because their sound was used up. kind of like silverchair.

edit: google can't even find a mention of their lead singer + statutory rape-- you sure you're thinking of the right person?

In the recording industry? Probably helps sales, ask R. Kelly. :D
