Members Zeopold
got a nice deal on one of these in old - school yellow burst nice, consistent sustain, decent action, not particulaly versatile, tone-wise, but does what it does well and looks the {censored}
Members bholder
I never used to like the looks of LP basses, but they're starting to grow on me after the last several folks have posted here....

Members lyricpoet
meh...it's ok. kinda looks goofy (a big bottom or what?) i think because it's regular scale. I'll take one in black 30" (short) scale!

Members Onkel Bob
I think we need to know some more. How is it? How's the sound, the action and so forth?
Members Perfessor
If it gets the job done then OK. I'm not crazy about it but that's why there are so many different types out there. Might be better black or natural.

It's being set up at the moment - I pick it up tomorrow and then I'll put it thru its paces on my Ashdown I tried it thru a Fender Bassman in the store - good sustain, clear, bright. ringing tone with that rockin edge you get with the better Gibson basses. Can't wait to rock it hard at practice Originally posted by dragon9666 Whats that trains name? That's Peter Sam Originally posted by dragon9666 A new guy huh? Check my reg. date.
