I searched for the old thread about this but found it not.
Anyway, whoever was getting one of these

I'm wondering what they thought about it.

This versin is also available

I have played through the 1200 Kustom Groove head, and it is not bad.

I'm tempted

Oh it's really $468 with shipping.

Do you think the 210 combo would be enough to gig with?

Depends on what your needs are.

For my band it would be. We play with little stage volume and rely on our PA to get the sound to the house.

We also use in-ear monitors to hear with.

I've been using a 1x15 cab for most of our gigs lately, and it does the job fine.

If you rely on your stage rig for all you're going to need and you compete with a 4x12 Marshall stack at mid to max volume, I would say no way a 2x10 is enough.

Kustom, Ampeg Genz, Eden, makes no difference.

Ya it is 600 watts

I had a tech at my local music shop put some kind of meter thingy on it and it read that it in fact put out 600 watts.

Yes id does, plus it has the tilt-back handle with built in casters . . .

good thing too, at 138 lbs, even the burliest of roadies would fear that one. but with the casters & spring loaded handles, they can roll it right up the ramp into the waiting semi-trailer & off to the next stadium . . .

:D

ps. does anyone else miss their signiture metallic vinyl tuck & roll cabinets & heads?

What kind of meter was that? I want one.

I Dunno, some kind of watt meter i guess:confused: that is why I called it a thingy:thu:

all I know is that I have known him a long time And he is an amp geek And he told me that the AMP does indeed put out 600 watts of power And if he said it puts out 600 amps i can trust what he says

because he knows his craft very well.

Maybe he put a clamp on current meter on the power cord and then did a P=IE calculation based on 120 volts. I seriously doubt he has the correct equpiment required to accurately measure power output.
