Members justinbass
My GBE1200 became a GBE750 and a GB 112 Neox cab. I am thrilled. My live rig just got 10lbs lighter, and I have another cab, whoo hoo
Members justinbass
So at this point I have owned a GBE600, GBE750, GBE1200 and a GB Neo-pak 3.5 One could gather that I like GB amps.
Members Death Hands
I'd like to try some GB stuff, but none of my local outlets have any available. Hell, I didn't see anything the last time I was in Guitar Center, either.
Members ModmanQ6
Sweet! I've got the 750 and the 212 cab. I'd love to add a single 12 too. Is it a 4 ohm or 8?
Members L-1329
Reading that thread title I thought you must have lost your senses, but now I see you've got more sense than most here. Nicely done!
Members georgestrings
I think the GBE 750 would be the perfect amp for me - I don't need the extra power, weight, or rack size of the 1200... More than likely, I'll end up picking upa used 600, though - and I'm sure that'll work out just fine, too... Nice setup, bud - congrats... - georgestrings
Members justinbass
Reading that thread title I thought you must have lost your senses, but now I see you've got more sense than most here. Nicely done! The 1200 was both heavier than I wanted and more powerful than I needed. The GBE600 was always loud enough, but GAS being GAS, I hopped on the GBE1200 when a great deal appeared. That head in a rack with other toys is heavier than I want it to be, so I am excited to have shaved 10lbs off of my rack weight by trading down to a GBE750. Members no-logic
I have a NeoPak also and was wondering about the the NeoX-112. How loud does it get with the cab being only 8 ohms?

Members t3ch
How does the neo-pack compare to the gbe750? +1 I can't try any GB around here and I'm really curious how they all compare.
Members Captain Fathead
How does the neo-pack compare to the gbe750? +2 Love my neopak in terms of tone, size and portability. Eventually, I'm gonna need something bigger. How different does the 750 sound?
Members justinbass
Well the 750 is louder and has more tonal flexibility. The tube channel on the 750 sounds very much like the neo-pak, but to my ears, the 750 is slightly warmer. You also have the Solid-state channel, and the ability to blend both on the 750. If you like the Neo-pak, you'll like the 750 more.

Members justinbass
Thanks. If all goes well, I might be adding another Avatar 410 Neo to my collection to. If I have GAS for amp related gear after getting that, I am insane.

Members blueyedmule
One could gather that I like GB amps. No,no. . ..no. We wouldn't want to assume. I wouldn't want to weigh my rig, it'd scare me. 4x10, 1x15, Mesa/Boogie 400+, preamp/Mackie power amp in a rack (my little biamp rig). I should just break down and buy a Tommy Gate for my pickup. It definitely all moves on wheels--hand truck or casters.
