Members Cpt. Spliff
I have long vowed to save my 100'th post for the obligatory pics of "our" basses if I ever found out how to do it. Here goes courtesy of a drunken Irishman: '65 Burns Shadow '69 Fender J '70's Kasuga J '78 Fender J '82 JV-Squier P '83 JV-Squier J '83 JV-Squier P '85 Aria RSB II '85 Warwick Thumb '80's Maya
Members bassman1956
That's some start on a collection! Obviously, you didn't come on here just to learn how to be a gear whore. I like that Burns!
Members Renfield
Nice collection. I'll take 1-3 off your hands, kthnxbye. Why such a Fender hater though? :poke:

Members Cpt. Spliff
Thank you, guys . I'm a total sucker when I hear a bass that I want. Not that I need it, but I always convince myself that it has another voice from what I've got. I'm a GAS-pestered gearwhore and I love it. Sending this post was an achievement of a lifetime as I have no idea what I'm doing on a computer. It ought to render me a few fully clad wimminz, but knowing you, I'd probably end up with a couple of Elvis'es instead.

Members Cpt. Spliff
damn your collection is awesome I'm quite fond of it myself. Some have served me well over the years, some are newer acquisitions. I really should try to get rid of some, but what the H#ll. I can't get used to the 8-stringer, f.ex. The string-spacing is wrong for me and the octave-strings are on top, which doesn't suit my thumb-playing. (but I got it very cheaply). Still, I try to exercise all of them regularly. Members Cpt. Spliff
What else do I want? A wall full of Aria's. Haha... odd use of words though 1) If you or TL want the Aria "Thor" I got offered (approx. 380 USD) I'd be happy to get it for you. Posting this thread made me realise I'd better lie low for a week or two. 2)

Members Super Bass
It's a Jazz bass put together from some nice parts that I sourced. Just waiting to get it back from the luthier who's assembling it for me.
Members Cpt. Spliff
I hate jazz-basses and all other Fenderistics, as Renfield observed Will it be anything like your White Wonder-P ? (Here I go again. Blame it on the namesakes.)

(Here I go again. Blame it on the namesakes.) Kinda, except it's not white and not a P bass. It's a pretty rare Fender colour, Sherwood Green Metallic. Members Cpt. Spliff
Metallic Avocado with a pizza p/g ? Yum-yum. But let's see now. Renfield will take between one and three of my basses, while you and Trauma Luna want the Aria. That means I can soon allow gastritis again
Members Super Bass
It'll have no pickguard. I was going to put black on, but I've decided to leave it off.

I used to own a '69 jazz, and it got stolen, I'd do anything to get another. The Highway One jazz I have now is my poor man's answer to getting it back, which is something I'll likely never be able to afford to do.
