Just about taking the pickguard off,...that's a mexican bass so under the guard there is a hole (used for cnc alignment i believe). So leaving off the guard might not look the best. Rack w/BMAX pre, dbx comp, and a cheap power amp soon to be replaced, probably with one of those new QSC GX300 (or GX500) that are reasonably-priced.
