The French from France now are all scatological. There was a bit of an uproar in Quebec a while ago because some popular Quebecois singer said "host" in one of his songs. The Acadians swear like that too, except it's even more incomprehensible and often mixed with English. They speak both languages poorly. There's a bit of that in Newfoundland English as well. "Lord liftin' sanctified Jaysus!" and that sort of thing. Members coyote-1
Is that where the Mormon Tabarnakle Choir came from? That would be tabarnak, that's an "a" after the "b", not an "e"... and yes, it's pretty much of the same level then the "F" word in english... Members FreestyleIntruder
Why do English/English speaking people call creme Anglais, creme Anglais. Why don't we just call it creme? Ditto the cor Anglais - why don't we just call it a cor? Do French people call a French horn, a French horn? Or do they just call it a 'horn'?
