Members SelenaBassGirl
How many basses do you have in total. I have 8, but I know that there has to be some that has way way more? Over how many years did you start collecting? Which one is your favorite? Do you downsize? I bought bass #1-my pink Spencer P in April 2007. It sort of went from there! My favorite one is my latest-which is the 57 reissue Fender P I just got. I can't or I am not ready to downsize yet-despite financial issues, cause they are all my babies and I refuse to sell any!!! Members Super_Donut_Man
I have bad GAS, but my wife keeps me in check, so I only have 5 basses and a few pedals.
Members AussieMark
I've got 11 and pretty much GAS-free these days, down from a peak of 21.

Members gspointer
Branch out to PA gear and other instruments if you want to experience GAS. FWIW, I have 9 basses.

Members collinwho
I have 2 basses. I never use one of them, although I will probably switch between the 2 more when I finish modding up the SX. I have 3 guitars(1 acoustic, 2 electrics), although one electric rarely gets played. I love looking at gear, but my playing habits have shown me that I really don't need more than one of anything, because I'm generally going to settle on whichever I like more and never touch the other. Members L-1329
11 basses, starting back in 1984. No gas either, except that I really regret that I wasn't able to get the last LeCompte bass that we had cooked up. Man, that thing would have been spectacular! Maybe someday it still will be... Members MTMTEX
I am up to 24 basses, 10 guitars, 4 bass rigs, 3 guitar amps and am now completing my PA for medium size venues. My gas could solve the fuel crisis for Texas, New Mexico, and most of Arizona.

Members beedlesw
I just have the 1 bass now, but I'd really love to get my hands on a P-Bass, especially one of the 51 P-basses. I also want an upright. and a pony. and a red ryder BB gun.
Members jasper383
I have 9 basses right now. Want to get it down to 3-5. The number of basses I have at any time coincides with whether I'm playing in a band with anyone or not. When I was playing a couple nights a week, two was plenty. Members Bluescout
I have 2 basses, a bunch of combos, amps and cabs but I really only use my Mex P, Firebass, and Avatar 210. I just want stuff. If I had 100 basses I'd still skim CL to see what's new.

Members B-Bottom
I used to have like 9 basses and a few guitars but now I'm down to three basses, one of which is a cheap acoustic and the other needs a new neck. Right now I'm GASing for an Envelope filter and a wah pedal. I'd also like to pick up a highway one jazz bass but that's down the road.
