If it hadn't been for the link in the original post, that could have gone in a completely different direction though. Mercutio anyone?

Romeo: Are you hurt?

Mercutio: Aye, a scratch, a scratch...

ask for me on the morrow and you shall find me a grave man!

A plague on both your houses!

The grave man part is great. He's totally dying, and still a pun master.

Oh, totally. I love Mercutio! His putdowns of Tybalt are great:

M: And but one word with one of us? couple it with

something; make it a word and a blow.

T: You shall find me apt enough to that, sir, an you

will give me occasion.

M: Could you not take some occasion without giving?

T: Mercutio, thou consort'st with Romeo

M: Consort! what, dost thou make us minstrels? an

thou make minstrels of us, look to hear nothing but

discords: here's my fiddlestick; here's that shall

make you dance. 'Zounds, consort!

I think Mercutio dying is the saddest part. I never really felt much for Romeo (who spends too much time complaining) or for Juliet, although she's more tolerable than Romeo.

When Mercutio drops his humor and says "A plague on both your houses" it's a total bummer though.
