Last week, I've come to the conclusion that I'm not going to spend any more money on outrageous film prices at crappy theatres with annoying people, sticky floors, and patrons who foul restrooms without washing their hands on departure.

DVD for me from now on, baby.

Sure is nice to eat, drink and pee when you like, for much cheaper, and enjoy films without the giggling Britney fan club behind you. cool.gif

From what I've heard, I couldn't possibly spend that much time watching many films. I'd O.D. frown.gif
I pay $22/month for 4 at a time. I dropped my cable, as all I want to watch is movies anyways, and they always have crap on. Netflix has an awesome library of hard to find horror flicks....demons, igor and the lunatics, etc.... I love it.

I think I actually get about 15 or so movies for that price a month...

not that I have found. I tried to rent repoman twice, and both times my postman cracked the dvd's. You just report the damage to them, and they send out another copy before they get the damaged one back.

I just wish that worked with the scratched-to-hell DVDs from Blockbuster. wink.gif

that is why I passed over them before deciding who to go with. A buddy of mine tried both, and blockbuster would make him wait until they got it back, inspect it for 4 days, then send out the replacement. {censored} that noise!

Sorry. I didn't mean their mailing operation (didn't know they had one...). I meant the "go down to the store and {censored} around for 30 minutes" to find DVDs on the rack. biggrin.gif

oh, and not to mention the fact they don't have {censored} for indie, classic sci-fi, or underground horror movies!! I could also add that they are having some legal problems with their no late fee's claim.

Excellent. The contract I had to sign for my card suggested that you buy the film if it's not back in 12 days. (This was after the no late fees ad campaign got launched).

Sounds like a late fee to me.
