The organic sounding Rock Master replaced the Hughes & Kettner Access, Piranha, JMP-1, SP-77 and Studio Pre.Haven't tried the two pres you mentioned though, it should be an interesting comparison. Peavey is a great company to deal with if you need a RM footswitch w/led schem. A generic one I had, worked for channel switching but the leds did not function properly.
