    I didn't care for them at all, swapped a set of Dimarzio Breeds in my RG. Much better!

    Congrats on a GREAT guitar! Love mine, including the pickups. It sounds better through my Mesa rig than my Marshall, but I guess it was designed that way.

    Now I'm curious as well. If you remove the battery, do the magnetic pickups still work? Gotta try on mine when I get home tonight...
