Members ckcondon
I use my Colorstrips w/no controller due to time/space/personnel restrictions. We usually set up one on each side of the stage vertically (really tight spaces!) and if I can, one on a t-bar behind drums.I'll master/slave the side fills and let the backlight go independently for contrasting colors.I find that a slow fade seems to work best as the sound active can be too jumpy.Does anyone else use auto mode and which one seems to work best, and at what speed? Thanks, CC

Members BillESC
When mounted vertically, I like number 8. Makes it look like the led meters on your mixer.

That would really piss my guys off. They already bitch about lights blinding them! Would be fun for the last set though...

Members ned911
Get some gel's for them it helps with the blinding effect.
Members TrickyBoy
We use them horizontally as back floods. When aiming them, I basically aim them down at the front edge of the stage. I find that provides good light while not blinding the audience.
