Members ariscorkos
Looking to buy a pair of 10" speaker cabinets to use as vocal-only monitors for a live band practice. 10" because I'm looking to mount them permanently on a wall/ceiling, and the space I'm looking to mount them is somewhat limited. Can anyone recommend some very efficient 10" PA speaker cabinets....the amp used to drive them puts out 225wpc@8ohms/400wpc@4ohms. Thanks.

Members stunningbabe
Can't go wrong with a Mccauley 10" driver. ...though it will stress your amp if pushed hard coz it is 300W rms!.

Members tremendo
Heard those YAorkville 160's yesterday. They rock for 10" speakers, if your budget will allow them. Wicked crisp.

Members rintincop
Does the Yorkville E10 use the same B&C drivers as the Yorkville E160P ? http://www.yorkville.com/default.asp?p1=0&p2=0&p_id=4 This 200 watt passive speaker fromFBT also use B&C 10" & 1" drivers. http://www.fbt.it/sito/Inglese/pae/speaker/FBTMaxX/FBTMaxX-2/index.asp Here is a link to my thread "Powered 10" and 12" Monitors" http://acapella.harmony-central.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=550767 Nobody has heard all of these speakers side by side. I've only been able to hear the Mackie SRM450s and the JBL EON 10 and 15.
