Members Al Poulin
Did you order those Samsons yet? I'm very curious. I'm going to see my dealer this week. I'll have to slowly try to explain to my wife exactly why I need new speakers... If I'm not allowed to buy them , I will do my best to convince my dealer to bring a pair in and let me test them out. I'll let you know what happens by the end of the week. Al
Members Thunderbroom
A PLX1804 will feed each sub 900w per channel, that might be the ticket! Why would I want to send 900w to a sub rated at 500w?
Members drumstix
Why would I want to send 900w to a sub rated at 500w? If your uncomfortable with that much power then perhaps the 2402. This amp will give you 700w per channel @ 4ohms. Myself, I like the fact that the 1804 is only 13 pounds. 900w is alot of juice but not crazy. Most say to use a amp that is 1.5-2 times the standard running power. If you have a few extra in the budget and the fact you only plan on buying one sub, I might spend the extra 200 bucks for the SRX718. Esp if you plan on buying a new amp regardless. Just a thought. Members guitarharv52
I think the 1104 is 600(probably @ 1k)@ 4 ohms and still 13lbs.
