Got my used SW118's (yay - great father's day present) and am pole mounting my S115's on them. Is there a suggested/recommended/optimum height for them(let's say measured from the floor to the bottom of the S115?

Horns above the ears then you'll be set

i tend to place the top of the tripod (or pole) right under my nose. my guess is 5'3" to the bottom of my nose.

of course with ts70's they have to go a little higher as i dont trust the clamp alone and use the pin at a predrilled location.

Horns above the intended audience's heads, so allow for standing and/or seated. Also allow for cowboy hats, if locale required dress ;>)

You may want to get a second set of poles to cut down if playing in a low ceiling venue IF simple stacking isn't adaquate.
