Members gn2882
Got my used SW118's (yay - great father's day present) and am pole mounting my S115's on them. Is there a suggested/recommended/optimum height for them(let's say measured from the floor to the bottom of the S115?

Members RoadRanger
I like to get the bottom of the speaker to 6 feet so the midbass/mids are also not blocked.
Members Special J
I put the bottom of the speaker at head height.
Members Coaster
i tend to place the top of the tripod (or pole) right under my nose. my guess is 5'3" to the bottom of my nose. of course with ts70's they have to go a little higher as i dont trust the clamp alone and use the pin at a predrilled location. Members boomerweps
Horns above the intended audience's heads, so allow for standing and/or seated. Also allow for cowboy hats, if locale required dress ;>) You may want to get a second set of poles to cut down if playing in a low ceiling venue IF simple stacking isn't adaquate.
