Members ProDigit
Sorry,Haven't been visiting the forum for a while now! I'm happily running a Behringer B208D right now, and in the future probably go with a Samson Auro D412 monitor (400W peak, single twelve, portable, lower than $300). Members RoadRanger
Brains! But aside from that I was wondering how the B208D would do as a monitor? I picked up a pair for acoustic gigs and they sound pretty OK to me - very similar to K8's. For $140 each I'm tempted to pick another couple up. Members agedhorse
All of those little (and cheap) monitors aren't going to cut it for the long run except ave pretty low volumes. Yeah, they are cheap, but then again, they are cheap.
Members RoadRanger
Yeah, unfortunately if you are doing "general SR" you need monitors capable of being heard over Marshall full-stacks by folks with >50% hearing loss . I personally wouldn't have even a B208D at full boogie 6 feet from my ear without earplugs in.
Members agedhorse
I think most folks fall into the general catagory.

Members RoadRanger
Good Cheap Light Pick two Actually I think I'd amend that to: Good Loud Cheap Light - pick three .
