Members ksl Posted November 27, 2021 Members Share Posted November 27, 2021 Greetings all~ Can I kindly get some light shed on this series, & specifically on a 'Penny' copper colored 2018 U.S. Strat i saw for just under 900,,,, It was a real player as it was a bit crusty, not new strings, & was in need of some real TLC... In it's present state, & not very well set up, it had that certain charm, even with those unmanicured jumbo frets...Are they known to be a desirable model, especially at $850, & in penny copper?? Hard to say, but does the market deem that this axe won't last very long on the store shelves? I've got SEVERE G.A.S., but I also have a daughter in freshman college, & I get it,,, Stay away from music stores & animal shelters!! So, what am I really looking at here? The Roadhouse strat, still being made is $999 street price. Mexican I believe. The American performer, which I think that is, sells for the 1300 mark on Reverb. Best info I can give you.
