Take it from experience - it's best to just ignore his trolling efforts. Could be, but I believe he brought up a good question (paraphrased): "Do some XLR type cables really sound better than others? Some guitar cables certainly seem to sound better than others." It's a reasonable and sensible question. Furthermore, I can see how the average consumer could be swimming in a sea of uncertainty in attempting to develop an informed decision... because of the seemingly substantial amount of spin commonly employed by at least some or many manufactures and/or salespeople involved in these sorts of products. Some sales literature I've read certainly seems to suggest to me that indeed some cables sound considerably better than others. Of-course the same could be said about lots of stuff.
